All equipment that was removed in stages by department was asset tagged and any date devices securely managed for GDPR legislation.

This stored millions of customers personal details from 20 years plus worth of data disposed with our accredited ISO 27001:2017 framework for secure and robust data destruction policies and procedures

Fixed Asset Disposal currently deal with this company with managing all there existing WEEE and eWaste requirements for the UK. All subsequent satellite offices currently send all their end of life and written down assets to there UK HQ for Fixed Asset to collect and manage their disposal.
Due to being an American publicly traded conglomerate one of the key prerequisites from the accounts asset management team stipulated was a full item inventory of written down assets for disposal thus meeting there Sarbanes Oxley SOX condition dictated by US Federal Law for disposal of Fixed Assets and Equipment.

Fixed Asset Disposal took over from an existing eWaste company due to exceptions with the way the existing vendor dealt with asset management. This was recommended in a CAPA observation highlighted during an GMP audit for department regarding non conformance.
Fixed Asset Disposal quickly put in place a managed WEEE waste service for scheduled and ad-hoc collection and management services across multiple sites. Including full data security a priority requirement from our client due to the sensitive nature of there clinical and R&D data.

Fixed Asset were calling in to manage this companies existing UK based site that needed decommissioning and all equipment being disposed of. We liaised with key departments that needed to draw down their existing equipment ready for migration to existing sites. Adhering to strict timescales for a final shutdown of servers, network and office equipment that needed to be de-racked and cleared in time for the building to be handed back to the landlord.
Our client was so happy with our work we were invited back to help manage the decommissioning and removal of equipment from offices in Germany. Also including Offices and a removal of servers from a live environment inside a secure Datacentre in Holland. This has also allowed us to setup ongoing work though out Europe.

Fixed Asset were initially introduced to this company as a one-off ad hoc collection of existing written down cloud computing servers and networking equipment. Once again this company were impressed with the level of detail that our report provided and our due diligence to data security management in a very high-profile service availability provider.
This has led to a UK contract to provide a managed service to run a monthly collect and destruction service of end of life and RMA cloud-based server, networking hardware and data storage devices
